While Mexican food (and the vibrant Latin culture) is so strongly represented all over the world, it was barely visible in Australia in 2006. An idea was born!
Guzman y Gomez was named to honour old friends. GYG was founded to share the love of all things Latin: the food, the music, the art, and the warm sense of community. That’s why Guzman y Gomez like to get actively involved with local communities, and some further away from home to spread the GYG spirit.
